About B.Ed
Bachelors of Education, popularly referred as B.Ed., is a two-year full-time degree course divided into four semesters. That is essential for candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and other related fields.
B.Ed. is mandatory for all those who want to teach in primary and secondary schools. National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is a statutory body which delegates and regulates programmes in teaching across the country.
Eligibility: Candidates with at least 50 % marks in B.A /B.Sc. /B.Com. or M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com or bachelor’s in Engineering or technology with specialization in science and mathematics with at least 55% marks .
Relaxation of marks: For ST, SC, PWD candidates at least 45% marks.

About D.El.Ed
Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) is a diploma course which is of a total of 2 years course. The course has been designed to provide education to the teachers and to train them for the primary level teaching. The main aim of the course is to cover the theoretical knowledge and basic skills development in order to provide the teachers education in terms of effective teaching practices and modern classroom trends. After completing a course in diploma in elementary education, the candidates can pursue their career as a teacher in an elementary school.
